Keys to Stay Healthy

Nothing Beats Health

Being healthy is a goal for just about everyone because nothing beats health. It is a well know fact that people can’t fully enjoy living if they are sick and out of shape because that affects all aspects of their lives.

Keys to Stay Healthy

Some of the keys for staying healthy are, for one, drinking water. It is very important to keep our bodies hydrated. A good habit to get into is to drink a full glass of water when you first get up in the morning. I have heard that this “primes your pump” and gets you wanting to drink more throughout the day.  A good rule of thumb is to drink 1/2 our body weight in ounces for proper hydration. You should drink even more in very hot weather or when you are exercising.

Another key for staying healthy is to have a nutritious diet. Our bodies need vitamins, minerals, protein and enzymes that come from fresh fruits and vegetables and lean protein sources to function properly and give us the Energy we need.

Getting a good night’s sleep is another very important aspect of staying healthy. Our body is built to require sleep to help repair and rejuvenate itself during that time of inactivity and also keep our immune systems strong.

Breathing deeply is another way that helps you to stay healthy. It is very good to go out in the fresh air and take some deep breaths to oxygenate your body and get rid of old stale air in your lungs. It’s like trading a bad thing for a good thing. When it comes to health, that is a great thing to do. Anytime you can trade an unhealthy thing for a healthy thing,  you’re a winner.

You know, another thing that helps you to stay healthy, is having good relationships. Friends and family are very important to our health and well-being. So, make sure that you cultivate those relationships and make every effort to make them good ones because your health depends on it.
